  • How long does it take to get up and running?

    Most restaurants are live the same day they sign up. Import your menu, connect a card reader, and start taking orders in under an hour. For full-service operations with floor plans and custom modifiers, plan on a half-day of setup.

  • How does your pricing work?

    Our Free plan has no monthly fee — you only pay standard card processing fees on each transaction. Plus is a flat per-location monthly fee that unlocks advanced reporting, KDS, and loyalty. Premium is custom-priced for multi-location and high-volume operations and includes negotiated processing rates.

  • Do I need special hardware, or can I use my own?

    Gastros runs on iPad, Android tablets, and standard PCs in the browser. We sell a curated lineup of registers, handhelds, kitchen displays, and self-serve kiosks tested end-to-end with our software, but you are free to bring your own compatible hardware.

  • What happens if my internet goes down?

    Gastros keeps taking payments offline for up to 24 hours. Orders, tabs, and card transactions are queued locally on the device and sync automatically as soon as the connection is restored — no lost sales, no manual reconciliation.

  • Am I locked into a long-term contract?

    No. There are no long-term contracts and no early-termination fees on any plan. Free is month-to-month forever. Plus and Premium are billed monthly or annually — cancel any time and keep using the software through the end of your billing period.

  • Can I run multiple locations from one account?

    Yes. Plus supports multi-location reporting and shared menu management out of the box. Premium adds centralised inventory, role-based staff permissions across sites, and a dedicated account manager to help you roll out new locations consistently.

  • What kind of support do you offer?

    Free plans include email support with a one-business-day response. Plus includes priority phone and chat support during extended hours. Premium customers get 24/7 phone support and a dedicated account manager who knows your setup.

  • Can I export my sales and customer data?

    Always. Your data belongs to you. Export sales, items, customers, and tax reports as CSV or PDF at any time, or pipe them into your accounting tool through our integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage.
